| The Duchess de Croÿ |
Versailles has always held a special meaning for me. It is not only the grandest palace in Europe (and what girl doesn't love a palace), but also the home of my fabulously CHIC ancestor, courtier and confidant to Marie Antoinette, the Duchess Louise Élisabeth de Croÿ.
So
naturally I thought that it was a brilliant move of Mr. Lagerfeld to
take inspiration from the glory days of the Chateau de Versailles, and those lucky enough to have lived there, for Chanel's Resort 2013 collection. Above are some of my favorite looks. Hope you like them!
